STORE CATTLE VALUES MARKET AT MORRINSVILLE (Special Reporter) MORRINSVILLE, Friday Competition from several North Auckland graziers at the Morrinsville sale to-day stimulated competition for store cattle, which showed a slight improvement over la*st week's prices. Some 600 hood of store cattle from the East Coast, the last big draft to he offered at the yards this season, were on offer to-day. Best Polled Angus steers were traded from £4 13s to £5 9s, less attractive sorts from £2 16s to £3 10s and small from £2 to £2 12s. Store heifers also sold well, the tops making from £3 3s to £3 17s and others from £2 12s f»d to £3 Is. There was an improvement in the quality of the store sheep and best lines sold well, hut unattractive pens sold slowly. Front 20s to 21s 6d was obtained for two-tooth breeding ewes, while four and five-year-olds made front 14s to 16s 6d. Good store wethers were in request from 11s lOd to 14s lid.
