BROKEN HILL DIVIDEND (By Telegraph.—rress Association) WELLINGTON. Friday The Broken Hill Proprietary Company, Limited, has cabled the Stock Exchange Association advising that the directors have declared a half-yearly dividend of Js 3d a share, being an unchanged rate of I*2l per cent per annum. In the terms of the issue, the registered holders of provisional certificates are entitled to two-thirds, namely, lOd a share. The dividend is payable in Australian currency on May 31. BANK PAYMENTS The directors of the National Bank of Australasia. Limited, have decided, subject to audit, to recommend a dividend of 6 per cent, per annum on both classes of shares for -the half-year ended March 31. With an interim dividend at the same rate paid in November. 1938. this makes 6 per cent, for the year ended March 31 an unchanged rate. KAITANGATA COAL Tlie directors of the Kaitangata Goal Company. Limited, Dunedin, recommend payment of a dividend at the unchanged rate of 2s 6d a share, or lot per cent., for the year ended February 28.
