Branton; Master of the House, Rev. F. Oulds; Eli, Master D. Smillie; Simon called Peter, Mr H. B. Hall; first soldier, Mr B. Wilson; second soldier, Mr C. Branton; Pontius Pilate, Mr A. Cooke; Centurion, Mr P. Hare; Titus, a soldier, Mr H. B. Hall; children’s tableaux presented by children of the Sunday Schools of St. George's, St. David's, and Holy Trinity. The costumes were designed by Mrs C. H. Holloway, who also directed the music. The orchestral interludes were rendered by Mr and Mrs McLachlan and family, and the hidden choir effects by members of the choirs of St. George's and Holy Trinity. The children’s tableaux were arranged by Miss G. Rranton. and the lighting effects by Rev. P. G. S. Sergei and Mr L. Radford. Mr C. Holloway, junior, was stage manager. The scenery was painted Ivy Mr A. Cooke. Withdrawal from Drama Festival Owing to the expense involved and also the fact that to participate in the Hawke’s Bay Drama League's festival would necessitate breaking into its session, the Napier Repertory Society has decided to withdraw from the festival. For its first production, to be staged at the end of April, the Repertory Society has chosen " Stage Door.” Though different from the original play.
