Luncheon Provided 713 LAND AUCTION SALE PUTARURU SALEYARDS MONDAY. 15TH MAY, 1939 At 10 a.m. Favoured with instructions from the Trustees of the MATANUKU DOWNS ESTATE, we will offer by PUBLIC AUCTION at the PUTARURU SALEYARDS as above— THE MATANUKU DOWNS STATION The above Station consists of 1695 acres and is situated at Tokorow, 14* miles from Putaruru, approximately 1 mile from the bitumen road. It is all flat to easy rolling country, has been properly farmed and in the best of pastures. It is watered in every paddock with concrete troughs. Well sinking can be satisfactorily carried out. Hie fencing is all sheep-proof, and a metalled road runs through the centre of the farm and one on each of the two sides. The property is subdivided into about 35 paddocks. Buildings consist of the Homestead. 2 cottages, man’s whare. new woolshed with 4-stand shearing plant, cowshed, implement shed, sheep yards, dip, good cattle yards, etc. Stock carried at present consists of approximately 2 500 sheep and 900 head cattle including a stud of Aberdeen Angus Cattle.
