LENGTHY LITIGATION EVIDENCE FROM ENGLAND (By Telegraph.—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday The reading of part of the evidence taken in England for the defendant occupied the whole of the sitting of the Supreme Court to-day, in the action in which Alan Grant, stockbreeder, of Waimate, is seeking £IB2O 2s as damages from ‘Cooper. Maedou--a 11 nnd Robertson, limited, of Manchester. The defendant, company is a manufaclur.r of sheep dips, and plaintiff alleges that the use of one of tim dips made by the company killed 17 of his stud and flock Romney and - >ul lowi rams, and depreciated the value of 150 £B2O 2s. with £IOOO as g( ner il damages. Indications are that the case will not be finished until the week after next.
