Birthday of Princess To-day is the 13th birthday of Princess Elizabeth of York, the elder daughter of King George VI. In the event of a brother not being horn, Princess F.lizabeth will be the next in succession to the British Throne. Hospital Complaint At a meeting of the Waipawa Hospital Board a complaint was received that an infant which had been badly scalded at Ashley Clinton, 20 miles from the Waipukurau Hospital, had not received prompt attention. The hospital had been advised that the child was coming, but when it arrived there was no doctor in attendance, and further time was lost in the office while the mother, with the screaming child in her arms, was interrogated as to her age, religion, etc. The complaint was referred to the medi<jai superintendent.
