OBITUARY
MR WHAREMATAI IRIWHATA (Special to Times) lIUNTLY, Friday The death has occurred of Mr Wharematai Iriwhata, of Waahi Fa, lluntly West, aged 85 years. Deceased was a descendant of the Npati Koroki Iribe and was grandfattier of the .Maori King. Koroki Mahuta Te Wherowhero. A t.mgi was held at- the Waahi Pa and the funeral took place at Taupiri to-day. REV. FATHER J. M. VIBAUD (Special to Times) CIiniSTCHURr.iI, Thursday The Rev. Father J. M. Yibaud, S.M., of St. Mary’s, Christchurch, who died in the city yesterday, was well known I throughout New Zealand both for his devotion to duty and for his thorough knowledge of .the Maori race.
