SPECIAL FORECAST (By Government Meteorologist) The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, covering the Waikato-Tliames Valley is as follows: — General situation: Though relatively low pressure still extends || from Norfolk Island across northern New Zealand towards the Chatham Islands, an intense anticyclone is advancing across the Tasman Sea. Forecast: Light to moderate and variable winds, southerly gradual!v predominating. Weather cloudv to overcast with rurther rain probable but gradually improving. Temperatures cool. Seas moderate to rather rough.
