FIGURES FOR MARCH 'unfavourable comparison Dairying production in the Waikato during last month compared unfavably with that for the corresponding month last year, a decrease of up to iG per cent, being recorded in some instances. The March figures fur the Te Avvaniutu Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., represent a decrease of 16 per cent, on last year's figures, the company manufacturing ‘2OB tons against 248 tons. Despite the increase in the guaranteed price, suppliers of t.he company received only £22,671 as compared with £24,544 for March, 1938. Suppliers of the Morrinsville Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., however, received £28,532 for last month's supply against £28,503 for the same month last year. The 315 tons of butter produced during the month represented a decrease of 7 per cent, on last year s figures.
