ENJOYABLE PARTY
CAMBRIDGE QUEEN CARNIVAL Miss Noreen White, the Country Queen in the St. Peter’s Queen Carnival at Cambridge, was guest-of-honour when her mother, Mrs Carl White, arranged a parly at her home or. Thursday evening. Attractive decorations in red and Green streamers, coloured lanterns and masses of flowers were placed in the lounge where card tables were arranged. Some of the guests spent the evening (lancing in the sun porch, and playing parlour games. Mrs White was wearing a frock of black faille and white fur coat. Miss Noreen White wore a honey gold satin frock. Among those present were:—Mrs W. Murphy Waihi), Mrs Duckering, Mrs Parlington, Mrs Alwyn Gascoigne, Mrs P. J. Turney. .Mrs D. M. Bourke. Mrs D.
