Mrs «T. Gordon Smith, Hamilton, has rc-turued home from a visit to Wel--1 ing ton. Mrs F. W. Gilligan, Wanganui, is visiting Hamilton as the guest of Mrs M. M. Hockin. Miss Margaret Stockholm Davies, who has been spending her vacation as the guest of Mrs Theodore McKay, Palmerston North, has returned home. * * * * Miss V. Herdman, Hamilton, has returned from a holiday spent at Wellington and Tauranga. * * * * Mrs L. Carey, Cambridge, has returned home after a fortnight’s holiday spent in Wanganui and Wellington. * * * * Miss Hall has returned to Hamilton from Dunedin after completing her Plunket training. o * * * Miss Dorothea shields, of the Health Department, is on transfer to New Zealand from Canada. Mrs L. W ilson and Mrs G. Flighty, of Plimmerton, are spending a holiday in Hamilton and Auckland. * * * * A marriage of interest to New Zealanders was that of Miss D. Sadlier, elder daughter of the late Bishop of Nelson, to Mr W. Roblau, which took place in Palestine recently. Mrs M. Kilpatrick, formerly Miss Joan Parkhouse, returned to Hamilton on Tuesday and left last night to make her home in Palmerston North. CAMBRIDGE Mrs Kelson Butler is spending a week at Lake Taupo. * * * * Miss Mary Latta has returned to Christchurch after visiting Mrs V. H. Nolan, of Roto-o-rangi. * * * * Mrs W. Morrow, of Leamington, is the guest of Mrs Richards, of Morrinsville. * * * * Miss June McLaren, who has been the guest of Mrs Carl White, of Karapiro, has returned to Okoroire. Mrs W. Murphy, of Waihi, is the guest of Mrs Carl White. WALTON Mrs W. Reid is visiting her sister, Mrs L. Mapp. Miss Francis Jamison, Coromandel, lias been visiting Mrs J. Wallace, of Richmond Downs. Mrs Ilarry Watson has returned from visiting Rotorua.
