NICHOLSON—POLGLASE FRENCH SAT IN AND SEQUINS A charming wedding look place this morning in the Church of Christ, Claudeiands, when Joyce Lillian, second daughter of -Mrs N. Polglase, of Daisy Street, Hamilton, and the late Mr i Polglase, was married to David Kerr. V.cond son of Mr and Mrs D. NicholJon, of Manning Street, Hamilton. Pastor J. Salisbury was the oiiiciating minister and was assisted by the Rev. G. C. Reay, while Mr A. Robinson presided at the organ. The church had been beautifully arranged by friends of the bride, with flowers m pastel shades. The bride, who entered the church with her brother, Mr A. Polglase, wore a charming gown of French ivory satin embroidered with silver sequins. The bodice was fashioned with a high neckline and long tight-fitting sleeves, finishing in points over the hands, while the slim-litting skirt fell to form a long train. Her beautiful embroidered tulle veil was worn over the face on entering the church, and the halo was held in place with tiny sprigs of orange blossom over the ears. A sheaf of ivory Easter lilies was carried. Miss D. Polglase and Miss R. Polglase were in attendance as bridesmaids and wore similar frocks of ivory Chantilly lace, the bodices being fashioned with V necklines and short puff sleeves. Bands of ivory satin ribbon in a Vandyke design trimmed the corsages and circular flared skirls to the hemlines and wreaths of pastel-shaded. buds, to tone with the bouquets, were lied with green satin ribbons, falling in streamers over the shoulders. Mr R. Nicholson was best man and Mr N. Nicholson was the groomsman. The usher at the church was Mr G. Nicholson. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Church of Christ Social Hall, which had been charmingly arranged with pastel-shaded llowers. Mrs Polglase received the guests wearing a model frock of storm blue afgaline with navy hat and accessories and furs and she carried a posy of autumn-shaded flowers. The mother of the bridegroom was wearing a frock of saxe blue jnarocain with hat and accessories to tune and furs. Her posy was composed of autumn-shaded flowers. The bride travelled wearing a petrel blue frock of herring-bone afgaline with coat to match, Arabic tan lia'L and accessories. Mr and Mrs i>. K. Nicholson will make their home in Hamilton.
