FURTHER MATCHES RESULTS OF TWO FINALS (By Tele«rranh.—Press Association) PALMERSTON N., Tuesday Further results of the Dominion Croquet tournament are as follows: Championship Doubles.—Final: A. J. Gibbs (Patea) and Mrs Clark (New Plymouth), beat Mesdamea T. Simpson and L. Wood (Palmerston Norib), 26—20. Women’s Championship.—Final: Mrs G. McLeod (Gore), beat Mrs C. Watkins (Hastings), 26—17. Open Championship.—Third round: F. C. Bryan beat Mrs Pitcaithly; J. Tannock beat Mrs McMurray, 26—13; Mrs McLennan beat Mrs Gambrill, 26—22. Semi-finals: A. G. Ross beat F. C. Bryan, 26—19; J. Tannock beat Mrs McLennan, 26—14. CHRISTCHURCH TOURNEY OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP TO ROSS (By Telegraph.—Press Association) PALMERSTON N., Wednesday By winning the second game 26—8 in the final of the best two of three games, A. G. F. Ross, of Christchurch, became the open champion at the Dominion croquet tourney The other finalist was J. Tannock, of Diinedln. The first game resulted 26—25 being the closest contested game in the tournament. In the final of the ladies* championship Mrs McLeod, of Gore, beat Mrs C Watkins, of Hastings, 26—21 In the first game but lost the second game '24—26. The third and deciding game is In progress.
