Girl's “Deception” With arms outstretched and golden hair flowing in the breezes, the inanimate form of a girl was carried across Victoria Street. Hamilton, to-day by a man in his shirtsleeves. Bystanders had visions of a serious—apparently fatal —accident. Reaching the footpath the bearer stood the girl on the kerb, and amazingly she did not collapse, although he held her by the neck while he chatted with a companion. A few minutes later the girl adorned a window in a drapery emporium. dressed in an attractive spotted outfit with a neat apron. She would have made a very chic waitress had she not been made of wax. Anyway, she deceived many people, and she certainly looked like what the Americans call a “regular girl."
