SPECIAL FORECAST (By Government Meteorologist) ibe special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, covering the Waikato - Thames Valley la as lollows: — General situation: A belt of relatively high pressure still covers the South Island, while the last or the recent series or weak cyclones is centred near Cape Marla van Diemen. Forecast: winds between north-east and east, moderate to Tresh but decreasing. Weather unsettled at first with rain at times but gradually improving. Temperatures warm. Seas moderate to rather rough but decreasing.
