STATE MINE IDLE
DIBPUTE OVER BUS BEATB WORKER STRIKE AS PROTEST (By Telegraph—Pres* Association) GREYMOUTH, Monday The James State Mine is Idle owing to a dispute concerning the bus conveying the Greymouth miners, two of whom did not obtain seats in the bus this morning. They refused to stand and the bus went without them. The union’s request that the two men be paid wages for the day was refused by the magistrate and all the men decided not, to work as a protest.
