BPKCIAL FORECAST (By Government Meteorologist) i'he special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, covering tne Waikato-Thames Valley Is as follows: Porecast: Northerly to easterly winds, moderate to strong in force and reacting gale Torce In a few exposed positions. Weather dull and misty with heavy rain it times and some flooding possible. Temperatures mild. Seas rough on east coast and off shore on the west co*st. General situation: An anticyclone covers the South Island, but a cyclone or moderate intensity Is centred a short distance west of the Auckland Peninsula. Pressure has fallen over Tasmania.
