AMBULANCE COMPETITIONS
GATHERING IN HAMILTON Members of several amhulanc* divisions In the province gathered In Hamilton to-day for the annual competitions in connection with the Hamilton Regatta and, with the weather unfavourable for open air activities, the contests were held in the St. Peter's Hall. Representatives of the Onehunga, Cambridge. Rotorua. Thames and Frankton Divisions were in competllion while the competing nurses represented the Onehunga. Otaltuhu Railway, Cambridge. Rotorua. Thames and Frankton Railway Divisions. In the cadet competitions entries were received from the Kowhai. Paeroa, Frankton and Onehunga Divisions. The judges were Division Superintendents P. T. Olanville 'Cambridge) and P. G. Uoskings 'Thames). The Haig Cup competition for general efficiency was won by Private A. Roberts (Thames' with Private i*. Wright (Frankton second and Private C. Clarke (Thames' third.
