RECORD MEMBERSHIP REACHED OFFICE STAFFS INCREASED (By Telegraph—Presc Assoc'.tiont AUCKLAND. Friday Although membership of unions in the Dominion reached the record total last year of 332,986 it is anticipated that the returns for the year ending to-morrow will reveal a further substantial increase. In an interview to-day, Mr H. Campbell, secretary of the Auckland Trades Council of the Federation of Labour, said the work of union offices had been increased over 50 per cent, and the personnel of (lie office staffs proportionalelv.
