T°l Copyright) (Received Dec. 29, 3.15 p.m.) BURGOS, Dec. 28 A communique from General Franco’s headquarters claims that the victorious advance continues in every sector of the Catalan front, lfut unofficial sources admit that the initial impetus has been somewhat reduced in the past two days, partly owing to the necessity for consolidating the newly-occupied territory and partly owing to the Republican counterattacks. The communique states that General Franco's forces in five days occupied 400 miles of territory. BARCELONA. Dec. 28 A Government communique admits small territorial gains hv .General Franco’s forces on the south flank of the Catalan front, but says the attempt to reach Rerida and Tarragona, on the main road and railway, has been withstood. It claims that heavy losses were inflicted on General Franco’s troopa in the Tremp area.
