SPECIAL FORECAST Government Meteorologist) The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, covering the Waikato-Thames Valley is as rollows: — Forecast: Moderate to strong north-westerly winds, turning to-night to south-westerlies. Weather clouding over and some rain probable. Temperatures cooler to-morrow. Seas slight to moderate on east coast, becoming rough on the west. General situation: A rather deep westerly depression Is crossing the Dominion, pressure Jjelng low to the south, while remaining high to the north. There has been a rapid rise of pressure over Eastern Australia.
