The 2 2nd annual meeting or the Sunny Park Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., was held in the Memorial Hull, Tc Poi yesterday The meeting, in the opinion or Mr J. Bell (chairman), was one or the most successrul in the company's history eo Tar as the general figures in the balance sheet were concerned. There was little general discussion. Stopiord, a rounder and chairman or the company, whose death had occurred since the last meeting, was passed while all present stood Reviewing the past year Mr J. Bell stated that there had been an increase in the amount or butter manuraciured but a decrease in the amount or cheese. There a small decrease in the amount or butterrat received, largely owing to the eczema trouble causing cows to dry oil' rapidly. The quality or butter and cheese had showed an improvement which was gratifying. Cheese had graded over the season the highest in the Auckland Province and congratulations were due to Mr D. Bragomlale and his stair. Increase in Costs Costs or manufacture had shown an increase over the previous year. The cost or butter to r.o.b. was 2.023 d as against 1.987(1, and or cheese 3.034 d as against 2.856 d. • The chief increase was in wages, especially in the cheese section, where the cost was £3 Ss 7d per ton as against £2 16s 4d per ton Tor the previous Mr Bell stated that the directors recommended a dividend of 3 per cent, after which there was a sunicient surplus to pay a bonus of t t- 3d per lb to cheese suppliers and 2-3 d to butter suppliers. During discussion on the report the secretary stated that comparative changes to r.o.b. were:—l936, butter, £tt 16s sd; cheese. £9 17s 3d; 1 938, butter, £l4; cheese, £ll ?s. The retiring directors. Messrs. J. Bell and J. M. Hill were re-elected unopposed. A dividend or 3 per cent, as recommended by the directors, was approved. Messrs. Sanson and O’Meara were reappointed auditors and Mr T. J. Ryan, secretary. A donation or £5 to the Blind Institute was approved. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the secretary, directors and stafT on the motion or Mr M. \. Wright, who stated that the fact that the company had paid out the highest price ror cheese in the Auckland Puvince, spoke eloquently for their work. __
