The Twins said that he was suffering from growing pains £ £ again and so he doesn’t feel at all happy but Peter thinks that he is H B far too lazy to turn off the rain tap. g Scamp and Smutty have been having such lovely games lately, for g S those mischievaus pet 3 love the wet grass and the muddy puddles. « I Every time Peter sees those pets they are looking very muddy and £ wet and the Wendy Person scolds and scolds but Scamp just keeps on £ rolling in the water until the Wendy Person stops scolding then he U goes and shakes hands with her. g S Poter has been finding fresh signs of spring In his garden this g g week in spite of Mr Weather Man’s bad temper. For there was the £ S loveliest clump of golden daffies in bloom with three rosy-pink ane- g mones close by and then the next day the Twins found a tiny spray of £ I** golden broom out In full bloom. The Sunshine Girl has Just burst g Into Peter’s room carrying the loveliest bunch of golden daffodils and soft maidenhair fern and she Is looking very pleased with herself, g “These are to cheer up our room, Peter, it looks so cold and miserable £ H without flowers, doesn’t it?” So now Peter doesn’t mind in the very g g slightest if the skies frown all day for there Is daffodil gold everywhere *| 22 and that Is nearly as good as golden sunshine, isn’t it?
