June 13 It is reported from Kashmir that a Junkers aeroplane, sent out to help the German Himalayan expedition, flew over Nangaparbat (26,600 ft.) on Friday and dropped over half a ton of provisions by parachutes to the climbel’s, who were camping at 18,000 ft.. says the Munich correspondent of the Daily Telegraph. A British officer from the India Air Force was aboard the machine as observer.
