CARD EVENING AT KAIPAKI
After a lapse of a fortnight the card and ping-pong evenings were resumed at Kaipaki on Saturday, when a good number attended. At the card tables ft flag five hundred drive was played, the winners being Mr Bennett, senr.. Mr Brunton, of Taranaki, Mrs \V. Cunningham and Mrs A. Goodwin, who were each present ed with a small trophy by the chairman of the sports committee, Mr R. Boyd. Mr Boyd announced that in future ordinary five hundred for the points prize would be run alternately with the flag five 'hundred. The ping-pong tournament was won by Miss Vera Christiansen and Mr Srampton.
