A woman spends a year of her life in front of the mirror, at least that is what a British cosmetic ffrm claims, says the Daily Sketch. This is how they work it out In the morning the average giri spends at least a quarter of an hour in front of her mirror, combing her hair, creaming and powdering her face. Before she gets *nto bed she usually spends longer, creaming her fare igoJn and brushing ner hah’—say twenty minutes. For the eonstart glances at a m'.irjr in :he daytime—say ten minutes. That Ktals up to three-quartors of an hour a day, or about 12 dj/s a year. Say a woman spends that time on her appearance from the age of 18 till 58. Then that's over one year of her life in front of a mirror.
