Results were as follows: Singles.—Mrs Fabyan (U.S.A.) defeated Miss Lumb (England), 5—7, 6 —2, 6—3; Mrs Wills Moody (U.S.A.) defeated Miss Stammers (England), 6—2, 3 —6, 6—3; Miss Marble (U.S.A.) defeated Miss Scriven (England), 6—3, 3—6, 6 —o. Doubles. —Misses Dearman and Ingram defeated Mrs Wills Moody and Miss Bundy, 6—2, 7 —5.

June 11 Results of finals of the French lawn tennis championships were as follows: Men's Singles.—Budge (U.S.A.) defeated Menzel (Czechoslovakia , 6 — 3, 6—2, 6—4. Women's Singles.—Madame Mathieu (France) defeated Madame Landry (France , 6—o, 6—3. PARTS, June 12 The French tennis championships were continued to-day. Results were: Men's doubles: Final, Petra and Destremau defeated Budge and Mako, 3—6. 6—3, P—7, 6—l. Women's doubles: Final, Mdlle. Mathieu and Miss York defeated Mcsdames Halflf and Landry, 6—3. 6 —3. Mixed Doubles.—Final: Mitls and Madame Mathieu defeated Boussus and Miss X. Wynne. 2 —6, 6 —3, G—3.
