THE GOVERNMENT COURT APPOINTMENT OF ARCHITECT 4 By Tele"--»r*'> . _rrr«« WELLINGTON. Saturday The Minister of Industries and Commerce and honorary president of the Centennial Exhibition Company, the Hon D. G. Sullivan, said the architectural work involved in the Government Court will be entrusted to Mr Edmund Anscombe. The appointment had been approved because of the pressure of work on the Government architect. and because of Mr Anscombe'* expert knowledge of exhibitions over a long period of years. Mr Sulh\an stated that all departments were enthusiastically preparing exhibits for the Government court, which would be a presentation of the progress made during the past 100 years. The rourt would include innovations of interest to all visitor*. The court, the Minister added, would have floor space of 100.000 square feet and would house 2A Government departments.
