WARTIME MEMORIES

REUNION IN HAMILTON TWENTIETH REINFORCEMENTS Memories of wartime were revived on Saturday evening when a reunion of the E. Company of the 20th Reinforcements was held in Hamilton. Mr' J. R. Fow, who had farewelled all the reinforcements from Hamilton, was the guest of honour and Major Short, of Auckland, who was in command of the company during the war, was the chairman. After the dinner a social evening was held in Toorak Chambers where old acquaintances were renewed. The toast list was as follows: The King, proposed by Major Short; The Company, Mr Fow, reply by Colonel A. D. Jack (Auckland); Absent Comrades. Mr F. Mitchell, reply by Mr T. Kingston; other companies of the reinforcement, Mr G. Reid: Departed Comrades, Mr W. Sanderson. It was decided to make a donation to the secretary, Mr W.
