Copyright BERLIN, April 3 Britain has sent a Note to Germany recognising the union with Austria, and agreeing to replace the British Legation in Vienna by a ConsulateGeneral. Britain reserves the right to define her attitude regarding treaties and other matters concerning Austria since the cessation of independence. France has decided to instal a Consulate in Vienna. Addressing 30.000 gathered in halls in Munich and 400,000 who had been forced to assemble in the darkness on the surrounding hillsides, Herr Hitler denounced the so-called terrorism which previously existed in Austria and which he asserted had resulted in 1000 persons being shot and 100,000 being imprisoned.
