Mrs lan Stuart, of Hamilton, who has been the guest of her mother, Mrs H. I Clark Thompson, of Napier, has left to J visit Taupo. ♦ * * * Miss No rah Howe, of Auckland, spent the week-end at her home in Hamilton. Miss Brooke-Smith, of Hamilton, is on holiday in Auckland. Mrs Baldwin, of Hamilton, accompanied by Miss Batchelor, of Dunedin, has left to join the Port Alma at Bluff, on a visit to England. Mrs 0. Ingram, of Opotlki, has returned from a visit to Hamilton. Mrs N. K. Edwards, who is attached to the honorary staff of the Toe H League of Women Helpers, London, Is visiting Auckland. She is accompanied by Miss 11. Benbow, the general secretary of the Toe II League of Women Helpers. London, who is to remain In New Zealand for six months, visiting all units. Mrs Edwards will leave this week by the Monterey and will return to London via Canada and America. CAMBRIDGE Mrs Max Garland, formerly of j Thames, is spending two weeks as the guest of Mrs J. W. Garland before taking up her residence in Whangarei. Miss Nancy Martin has left to spend three weeks at Te Awamutu. Miss King, of Wellington, is visiting her -sister, Mrs E. J. F. Kennedy. Mrs F. Murphy is staying at the National Hotel. Mrs S. Lewis is spending a few days at Kawhia. Mrs A. H. Magson, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs Nigel Wrighfson, of Monavale, has returned to Auckland. Mrs Clive Ellis, of Auckland, Is the guest of Miss Ellis of Leamington. Mrs George Watson is staying at the Hotel Venlnor, Devonport. Miss Moya Mahoney lias left for Wellington where she will take up a dental clinic position. Mrs E. Nicholls is staying with her j daughter. Mrs lan Fairbrother. Mrs D. Donaldson, of Auckland, ,and I Mf-s G. Downey, of Gisborne, are the guests of Mrs W. Munroe. TE MATA Miss Ilene Duggan, of Taranaki, has been spending a holiday as the guest ! of Mrs W. G. Vernon. Mrs J. Newton has returned home ; after a visit to Paekakariki. Mrs T. G. Mold, of Howlck, is the guest of her daughter Mrs H. Goodwin i at Moerangi. Miss Mildred Thomson of the Lowlands, Aotea, is spending an extended holiday in Auckland. Miss Edith McCracken, who has been spending a holiday at Te Mata has returned to Auckland. Mrs C. Munro, of Te Hutiwai, has returned home after a month spent In New South Wales. Mrs R. T. Vernon is on a fortnights’ motor tour. Mrs W. of Moerangi, has returned home after visiting friends at Taihape and Papakura. Mrs B. Phillips is the guest of Mrs Stanley Phillips, Raglan.
