OBITUARY
MR. GILL. BYKEB (Special to Times) HUNTLY, Friday The death has occurred at Huntly of Mr. Gill Sykes. Mr. Sykes, who was born at MinHeld, Yorkshire, England, served in the war and was four years in Mesopotamia. He came to New Zeaalnd in 1923, residing at Auckland until he moved 10 years ago to Huntly, where he commenced business as a tobacconist and hairdresser. He was a member of the Huntly Golf Club, and was interested in other sports. Deceased, who is survived by his widow, was accorded a military funeral at the Kimihia Cemetery, the ■Rev. J. C. A. Zimmerman officiating at the graveside. /
