ODDFELLOWS’ DANCE
LOYAL HAMILTON LODGE SUCCESSFUL EVENING A gay spirit prevailed when members of the Loyal Hamilton Lodge, Manchester Unity Oddfellows, held an enjoyable dance on Thursday evening. Balloons, streamers, and novelty dances caused amusement and added greatly to the success of the evening. An excellent supper was served by members of the committee. Mr R. Larkin was M.C. Hales, green crepe suede; K. Douglas, moonlit blue taffeta; M. Croasdale, floral sunray taffeta; Eileen Sweeney, Marlborough blue crepe; J. Hemsley, black taffeta and sequinned coatee; M. Hemsley, pink taffeta and black net; E. C. Gregory, figured organdie; Betty Blunt, moonlit blue lace; Peg Bunyan, black chiffon velvet; Tui Keenan, green self-figured matalasse; Eileen Jordan, floral ninon; Freda Watson, tomato souple satin;. Myrtle Harvey, black georgette; .M. Bremner, London tan wool lace; J. Mather, pink floral ninon; A. Hawke (Tuakau), pink and silver net; D. McLean, hyacinth blue cloque; Nola Huse, lotus blue suede crepe; V. Downes, fern green georgette; Sylvia Keenan, moonlight blue chiffon velvet; F. Darrell, pink faille; Peggy Hebditch, eggshell blue self-spotted taffeta; D. Edwards, lemon embossed cloque;! A. Walsh, bottle green crepe faille; M. Ruddy, multi-coloured diagonal striped taffeta; Edith Best, ivory crepe faille.
