PROFESSIONALS MEET RESULTS AT INVERCARGILL (By Telegraph.—Press Association) INVERCARGILL. Friday The annual tournament of the Professional Golfers’ Association was begun on the Invercargill Golf Club’s links at Otatara to-day in ideal weather. The course, which measures 6000yds., was, on account of a long spell of dry weather, playing short long drives getting from 280yds. to 320yds. and 330yds. from the tee.
