Copyright (Received Jan. 28, 1.45 p.m.) SHANGHAI, Jan. 27 A Japanese sentry at Nanking assaulted Mr Allison, the third Secretary of the United States Embassy. The Japanese authorities later apologised for the assault, and warned nationals to avoid besmirching Japan's good name.
