BLASTING TRAGEDY
MARRIED MAN KILLED (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday One man was killed and another extensively injured to-day, when a face of rock was being prepared for blasting at Hayward's Hill, Hutt Valley, Wellington/ The victims were:— Mr Ernest William Tucker (27), married, with one child, of Wainuiomata; killed. Mr J. Lamb, Mandalay Terrace, Khandallah, lacerated wounds to the face, arms, hands and legs, and injuries to the back and chest. The rock fell before the charge exploded. ____________
