BRIDE-TO-BE HONOURED
KITCHEN EVENING FOR MISS AUDREY SECCOMBE Mis? Berice Stephens arranged an enjoyable kitchen evening on Wednesday at the home of her sister. Mrs J. R. Fitz-Gerald, Domain Drive, in honour of Miss Audrey Sec-combe, whose marriage will take place to-morrow. Bowls of pale pink gladioli, hydrangeas, carnations and sweetpeas had been artistically arranged in the rooms and a pleasant evening was spent with competitions won by Mrs Seccombe, Mrs L. Stubbs, Miss Phyllis Seccombe and Miss Kath Redwood. Songs by Miss L. Elliot and Miss A. Johansen were greatly appreciated. The guests were received by Miss Stephens wearing a blue and white diagonal striped frock. Mrs FitzGerald was wearing a frock of peacock blue faille, the guest-of-honour wearing a flowered frock.
