TAUMARUNUI VALUES At the weekly Taumarunui stock sale held on Tuesday, Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having submitted a good yarding of both pigs and sheep. Values for pigs were firm at late rates, while prices for store lambs, which composed the bulk of the sheep offering, showed an advance.. Cattle, which were penned in only small numbers, were not in request and a dull sale resulted: Best suckers made 13s Gd to 1-is; other;, 11s to 13s; weaners, extra good, 235; other good weaners, 17s Gd to 18s Gd; medium, 15s Gd to lGs Gd; slips, JGs to 18s; porkers, 345. Sheep: Best white faced shorn ewe lambs, to 2is 9d, for a pen of extra good sheep sold orr account of Mr I. Goodman. Owhango. Other ewe lambs, lGs Gd to IDs; medium shorn wether lambs, to 15s 9d; small and weedy, 8s Dd to 11s Gd; small Southdown lambs, 12s 3d to 12s 9d: small two-tooth ewes, 225; cull ewes, 7s Gd to 12s Dd.
