The following Waikato candidates in the University Entrance Scholarship examination qualified for the award of university national ordinary bursaries and are eligible to apply for boarding bursaries: — Alan Herbert Carter, Cambridge (65th in order of merit), 1271 marks, David John Gudex, Hamilton (75th), 1212; Douglas Alexander Tait, Hamilton (102nd), 1091.
