SAILING CHAMPIONSHIP

IDLE ALONG TROPHY WON BY WELLINGTON (By Telegraph.—Press Association) BLENHEIM, Wednesday. The Wellington boat. Vampire retained the New Zealand Idle Along sailing championship by winning the fTual race in the Pic ton Harbour this morning. The aggregate points are: Wellington 29; Marlborough 23; Canterbury 20; Nelson 12. Wellington had a comfortable win by 17 minutes from Canterbury, with Marlborough, close up, third. Conditions weer tricky with a gusty southerly wind. Nelson broke a shroud and had to withdraw.
