ROTORUA TOURNAMENT QUARTER AND SEMI-FINALS (By Telegraph.— Press Association) ROTORUA. Wednesday Both the men's and women's doubles championships were decided when the Rotorua Christmas open lawn tennis tournament was continued to-day. For the greater part of the day oppressive heat was experienced, but late in the afternoon light rain fell for a short period, although not sufficient to Interfere with the tournament. Following are the results; Championship Events Men’s Singles.—Semi-final: J. W. Gunn heat N. Smith, 6 —5, 6—3. Ladies' Singles. Quarter-finals: Miss Z. Holmes beat Miss G. Bark. 3 —6, 6—3, 6—4. Semi-finals; Miss I. Wylds’ beat Miss Holmes, 3—6, 6—4, 9—7.

Men’s Doubles.—Quarter-finals: L. Roach and Matuschka beat Cameron and McNelle, 6—3, 6—3. Semi-finals: J. Roach and D. Livingstone beat M. Andrews and F. M. B. Fisher, 6—4. 6—5; L.
