SPECIAL FORECABT. (By Govt. Meteorologist). The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist covering the WaikatoThames Valley Is as follows: Forecast. —Moderate southerly to south-easterly winds, freshening. Weather cool and changeable with scattered showers but later rain becoming fairly general. Seas moderate bu 4 later rising General Inference.—Yesterday's depression has moved eastwards off the Dominion and an anti-cyclone is approaching across the Tasman Sea. A moderate cyclone is, however, now centred near Norfolk Island.
