Copyright) MOSCOW, Oct. 25 Russia is openly tearing up the treaty whereby Italians and Russians are allowed to work in each other’s country without discrimination. Italians in the Soviet are being expelled or imprisoned. Three hundred have been expelled since April. Manful’ them were compelled lo leave Russian wives behind them, because Russian women are not permitted to leave the Soviet. Many Germans, too, are suffering imprisonment or expulsion. Italian and German protests are ignored, and prisoners are not permitted to receive visits from their diplomatic representatives.
