The death has occurred of Dr. Hans Reck, an African explorer and scientist. He discovered In East Africa the skeletons of a race allied with Neanderthal man, and made important discoveries regarding hedium and the problem of volcanic eruptions in Vesuvius and the South Sea Islands.
