RUGBY LEADERS MEET.

FOUR TOP TEAMS CLASH. TECHNICAL AND OLD BOYB. BIG COLLEGE MATCH TO-MORROW There is promise of hard and dashing Rugby in Hamilton to-morrow, for the four leading teams in the Stag Trophy competition will be seen, in action at headquarters, where the fare will bo further enhanced by the annual meeting of the Hamilton High School first fifteen and the Auckland Grammar School select, which always provides sparkling football and proves a draw for the crowd. The match will be played as the curtain-raiser at Rugby Park. With such a programme offered it seems certain that one of the largest crowds of the season will be seen at the park. The major attraction at Rugby Park to-morrow will be the meeting of Technical Old Boys and Old Boys. The former team is at present in the leading position in the competition, while Old Boys, lying third, are close behind. Old Boys have been playing better Rugby recently and Technical Old Boys have been hard pressed in their last two games. It'-therefore seems likely that the match will be strenuously contested. Can Old Boys defeat the leaders? That is the question which should prove the biggest draw to the public to-morrow. Technical will probably have slightly the better of the chances, but the game will be by no means one-sided. The game set down for the No. 2 field will bring together Frankton, the second team at present, and Cambridge Blues, who are lying fourth in affairs. Frankton are seriously seeking to overtake the leaders and arc eager for every win possible. On the other hand, Cambridge Blues, after a spell last Saturday, will return fresh for the fray. However, the visitors are not as strong as they were earlier In the season, and Frankton should have the better of the play. Games In Other Centres. At Cambridge, Stars and Marist will contend a keenly-fought game, in which the local team will have to fight hard for the honours, but should just prevail. Taupiri and Te Awamutu meet to-morrow in the other game, and after holding Technical so well last Saturday Te Awamutu are likely to prevail. Interesting lower grade games will be played in Hamilton to-morrow 4t Rugby Park, Hayes Paddock, Weka Street, the High School and at Karamu. THE DRAW.
