LITTLE CRIME.

SUPREME COURT SESSION. THREE CRIMINAL CASES ONLY. 22 DIVORCE PETITIONS. When the August session of the Supreme Court opens in Hamilton on Tuesday Mr Justice Callan will hear the lightest number of criminal cases for a considerable time, only three being on the list. A chemist will face a charge of supplying noxious pills to a woman, while alleged forgery, theft, breaking and entering and conversion of a motor-car will be preferred against another man. The third orimlnal case will be the re-trial of a man on charges heard last session concerning several alleged indecent assaults. The civil list is again fairly extensive.
