COMING-OF-AGE PARTY.

FOR MISS M. LOVERIDGE. HAPPY TIME SPENT. Mr and Mrs M. Loveridge, of Matamata, gave a very happy party recently in the Kensington Rooms, ill honour of the coming-of-age of their third daughter, Miss Margaret Loveridge. About eighty guests were present and the evening was a very delightful one and warmly enjoyed. A colourful note was lent by tlie table decorations of pink and green. During the evening Items, which were much appreciated, were given bj Messrs M. Lennant and J. Fussey (songs), Miss J. Philp (tap dances), Miss E. Dobson (Highland Fling), and Miss N. Pennell (piano accordion). Miss Loveridge received the guests wearing a frock of shell pink georgette with white ermine coat. Mrs Loveridge was wearing midnight blue georgette with blue pony seal coat to tone. Mr G. 'Carolin was MG. Among the guests were:—Mesdames H. G. Loveridge (Hamilton), M. Loveridge (Junior), M.
