DOMESTIC TROUBLES.

GEORGE BRENT SEEKS DIVORCE. MARRIAGE LASTS TEN DAYS. A message from Hollywood states that George Brent, the film star, has announced that he will seek an annulment of his marriage with Constance Worth on the ground that the Mexican marriage laws were not observed. It is expected that the case will not be contested. Friends said that the couple had lived together for 10 days when they decided that “we are not meant for each other.” Brent is making a picture at San Diego and Miss Worth is living with her mother. Constance Worth, who as Jocelyn Howarth appeared in the Australian film, “ The Squatter's Daughter,” and was seen on the New Zealand stage In “ Ten Minute Alibi,” is a well-known Australian actress. On completing this picture she went to Hollywood and was leading lady in her first film, “ China Passage.” In Hollywood she acquired a new name, Constance Worth, and married George Brent, a front rank star.

The Dunedin Little Theatre Society’s “ Boy Meets Girl ” season closed on Saturday evening with another successful performance to a full house.
