THE WAR IN SPAIN.
THE NON-INTERVFP'TION PLAN. BRITISH PROPOSALS DEFENDED. MR EDEN REPLIES TO LABOUR. United Press Assn.—£.»ec. Tel. Copyright. (Received July 16, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON. July 15. Mr Anthony*Eden, replying, said the ittitude of the Labour members was merely disservice to its own cause and —what was far more serious—to peace. He added that the information from abroad did not support Major Attlee’s contention that the proposals would be ineffective. Not a single nation in Europe wanted non-intervention to break down, , as the risks of a conlagration thereby inevitably increased.
