BENTENCEB AT WELLINGTON. SERIES OF BURGLARIES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. The following prisoners were sentenced to-day by Mr Justice Reed: — James Leonard Weeks (26), plasterer, for breaking and entering with Intent, two years’ probation; Tihu Huatalii (29), labourer, for breaking, entering and theft (eight charges) and theft, two years’ hard labour to be served after the sentence he Is at present undergoing; Urikora Poi (18), labourer, for breaking, entering and theft, two years’ borstal; Michael Dominic O’Rouko (25), taxi-driver, for unlawful carnal knowledge, ordered lo come up for sentence if called within two years; Lionel Hart Warren (52), labourer, for incest, three years’ hard labour; Victor John Peddie (29), shop assistant and labourer, lor theft and forgery twelve months’ hard labour; James Noel Shaw (17), farm-hand, for 'breaking, entering and theft, two years’ probation; Douglas Norton (19), labourer and machinist, for theft (four charges), two years' borstal; Roy | James Whelan (27), entering and theft, two Years' i>rnbation.
